My Story
I am the founder of Mindful Medical Weight Loss and am board certified in Family Medicine. I developed my weight loss program while working as a primary care physician and quickly came to realize the need for a sustainable and approachable path to weight loss.
In my years of practice, I kept seeing the same pattern. Women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who had been successful, disciplined, motivated — and who were genuinely struggling with their weight in a way they never had before. They weren't doing anything wrong. Their bodies had changed.
The hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause. The metabolic adaptations from years of dieting. The gut-brain signals that create what I call "food noise" — the constant mental chatter about food that makes every meal feel like a battle. These are real, biological phenomena. And almost no weight loss program addresses them.
So I built one that does.
