Menopause & hormone care

Your weight stopped responding because your hormones changed

You’ve probably gotten one of two answers already: “your labs are normal, learn to live with it” — or the same pellet they hand everyone. I do neither. I evaluate first, then we treat what’s wrong: weight, hormones, or both — and when testosterone is medically right for you, I prescribe testosterone cream, not pellets. A medical decision we make together — not a package you’re sold.

What it costs — all of it

You'll get three separate bills, and only one of them comes from me.

My visit — $150
Billed after we talk, never before. If you continue care, we normally meet once a month. No membership, no package, nothing prepaid.
Your pharmacy — billed by them, not by me
If medication is right for you, I try your insurance first. If your plan doesn't cover it, the pharmacy bills you directly. Exact medication prices are below.
Your lab — billed by them, not by me
I write the order. You take it to any lab you choose.

Ask me for a written estimate before you book — if you're paying without insurance, you have a right to one.

A prescription is never guaranteed — if medication isn't right for you, I'll say so.

FAQs

Is this a real medical appointment?
Yes — a private 30-minute telehealth visit with me, Dr. Zuleikha Tyebjee, MD (Board-Certified Family Medicine).
How much does each visit cost?
Each visit is $150. If you continue care, you normally meet with me once a month. There is no commitment, and you pay after each visit.
Do I have to continue?
No. There is no automatic enrollment or commitment. You choose after each visit whether to continue.
Does the $150 visit include medication?
No — medication and labs are billed separately, by the pharmacy and the lab, not by me. A prescription is never guaranteed. Exact prices are under "What do medications cost?" just below.
What do medications cost?
It depends on your dose, and on whether your plan covers it — which is why I try your insurance first. When a plan covers it, you pay what your plan charges. Without coverage, the compounding pharmacy's prices are:
  • Compounded semaglutide — $105 to $250 a month
  • Compounded tirzepatide — $150 to $350 a month
  • Testosterone cream — $50 a month
The figure moves with your dose. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The pharmacy sets these prices and bills you directly, and they can change. Ask me for a written estimate before you book and I'll give you the figures for your situation.
Do you take insurance?
Visits are cash-pay — I don't bill insurance for them. Prescriptions and labs work differently: I try your insurance for medication, and I'll send your lab order to your insurance if you'd like me to.
Which states is Dr. Ty licensed in?
I'm licensed in these states: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington.
